«I would highly recommend any institution
to apply to the Axios-administered programs. The completion
of the enrollment froms is a small price to pay for the benefit
one would receive from belonging to these programs. Our patients
have benefited tremendously by being able to access treatment
and tests that they otherwise would not have been able to
afford. All the Axios personnel that I have dealt with have
been extremely helpful and highly efficient, and our unit
would be much poorer without their support.»

«Viramune Donation
Program is vitally important for developing countries, such
as Georgia, where there is no other source for drugs in the
prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission. Axios staff
is very responsive, kind and helpful. They always respond
in a timely and competent manner.
Our organization, Georgian Maternal and Child Care Union,
wishes to express its gratitude to Axios for help and for
the most important work they lead.»

«As for our experience and recommendations
for other groups, I would say that our experience has been
a very positive one. I of course cannot say enough about our
experience thus far with Axios and the donation programs.
We would not have been able to afford to run a program of
the scope of the one we have currently without this assistance.
Diflucan will be an incredible addition to combating AIDS-related
opportunistic infections in Kumba. We are hoping to further
this relationship with the other donation programs.
I would say that the one hurdle that we encountered, as may
be the case for others, is the data requested by the application.
My recommendation (what we did in our application) would be
to estimate as best as possible the data requested, and to
delay the submission of the application for a month or two
to allow for the collection of data so that annual rates and
prevalences can be estimated and extrapolated. Otherwise I
would think that many smaller and rural programs would be
unable to generate the kind of data needed.»

«The Diflucan Donation Program managed
by Axios is indispensable to treatment in countries with limited
resources. This program makes it possible to treat patients
with cryptococcal meningitis as per international recommendations,
and to evaluate the treatment of asymptomatic cryptococcosis
, in order to reduce the mortality of this very severe opportunistic
infection, through the course of the HIV infection. Axios's
presence throughout the application process enables the shipment
of the order only a few weeks after acceptance.»
